In addition to building and running her own programs, Kait is a Canine Behavior Trainer with the Kentucky Humane Society's Community Behavior Department, a Service and Therapy Dog Trainer with Best Friends Animal Society's Canines With Careers program, and a member of the Evaluator Committee and the 2018 Board of WAGS Pet Therapy of Kentucky.

Past Projects:
With a strong foundation in pet therapy work, Kait and her husband John walked across the United States with their Pawsibilities Unleashed certified therapy dogs, Max, Grace, and eventually Jenny, in 2012. They visited 45 facilities in 12 states, spreading the word about pet therapy and the incredible potential of rescued dogs along the way. They were joined by support driver Jon Slater and his therapy dog and trusty co-pilot Old Brown Dog in Iowa. Video, photos, and stories from their Dog Walk Across America can be found at www.DogBlogUSA.com

Kait lives in Louisville, Kentucky with her husband, assistant trainer, and business partner John, their six adopted animals - four dogs (the fourth is a recent addition - group picture forthcoming!) and two dog-savvy cats - and an ever-changing group of dogs in training.
